Unger Farms Open Positions:

Farmer's Market Employee: This job entails working at a Farmers’ Markets and helping the market manger load and unload market van, set-up the market, sales of berries (credit card and cash payments), and customer service. There will be a mandatory training class in May over one or two weekends. Need to be able to work Saturdays June-September (only allowed 2 Saturdays off over the summer). Pay range: $15 - $18

Farmer's Market Manager: Market manager will oversee a Farmer’s Market. Required to have a driver license and ability to drive a cargo van from the farm to the Market. The position will be responsible for the market employee duties and will manage the other market employee(s) to make sure all required task are completed. Market managers will be responsible for knowing and following the market rules. Previous experience working at a Farmer’s Market is preferred but not mandatory. There will be a mandatory training class in May over one or two weekends. Need to be able to work Saturdays June-September (only allowed 2 Saturdays off over the summer). Pay Range: $18-$21

Farm Hand: This job entails being able to help with miscellaneous jobs on the farm.  Jobs on the farm may include laying out irrigation pipes, weeding, unloading vans, and folding flats.  The hours for this job are usually a 6-hour day that starts around 7AM.  Pay range: $16-$20

Flat Shed: This is a piecework job, which means that there is an opportunity to earn more than minimum wage. The job is folding our ½ flats and putting pints in the boxes, so they are ready to be picked into.  The hours for this job are usually a 6-hour day that starts around 7AM. Pay range: $15-$20

Delivery Driver: This job involves making daily deliveries to New Seasons. The deliveries are made in the morning and there are multiple store stops. On the weekend there will also be deliveries to the Farmers’ Markets. Required to be 18 years old with a clean driving record. The vehicle will be a 16ft or 24ft box truck with a life gate or a Cargo van. Previous driving experience is preferred. Pay range: $20-$25
